Kazakhstan, Estonia simplify readmission process

Majilis has ratified the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Estonia on readmission, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The goal of the document is to strengthen the cooperation and raise effectiveness of countering illegal migration.

The Agreement will promote the establishment of quick and effective procedures of identification and organization of extradition of persons who do not meet the terms of entry, staying or living in the territory of the state-parties as well as to simplify the transit of these persons, deputy Dinara Naumova said at the plenary session of the Majilis.

Additionally, the ratification of the Agreement will allow to create a legal basis for the cooperation between the authorized structures of Kazakhstan and Estonia on readmission based on the principles of reciprocity and in the spirit of cooperation.
