Kazakhstan evacuates its citizens from Gaza Strip

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The Kazakh Embassy in Egypt jointly with the Russian consular mission in Ramallah started evacuation of the citizens of Kazakhstan through the Rafah check-point due to escalating military-political situation in the Gaza Strip.

37 citizens of Kazakhstan and five nationals of Kyrgyzstan have been already evacuated. 15 Kazakhstanis were evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Egypt on July 17-18, 10 of them returned home.

On July 31 another 22 Kazakhstanis were taken to Egypt. 16 of them will leave for Kazakhstan soon, and the rest six will stay in Egypt, the Kazakh ministry's press service said.

The Kazakh Foreign Ministry expresses gratitude to Russia for helping to evacuate nationals of Kazakhstan from the Gaza Strip.
