Kazakhstan expanded housing stock by 30 mln sq m over last 10 years
ASTANA. March 5. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan has expanded its housing stock by 30 million square meters over the last 10 years.
The President has said it at the Congress of Women of Kazakhstan held today in Astana.
"Kazakhstan has extended its housing stock by 30 million square meters over the last 10 years. 330 families have been given opportunities to acquire their own homes for the period of the realization of the housing program," N. Nazarbayev said.
"I set a task to build 6 million square meters of housing every year. The state will continue to provide all possible assistance in this regard. KZT 75 bln is allocated for these purposes this year," the President noted.
