Kazakhstan expects to create joint technology projects with Japanese companies - A.Issekeshev
A. Issekeshev noted Kazakhstan attaches the great importance to cooperation with Japan in the field of industry, investment, energy efficiency, development of new technologies. 40 projects in the nuclear and petrochemical industries, mining and metallurgical complex, and in the field of new technologies were included in the Road map for strengthening economic and investment relations.
A memorandum on economic cooperation between the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) (Attachment: Road Map), Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Trade and METI, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Trade and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization of Japan (NEDO); Memorandum of Understanding between Kazakhstan's National Agency for Technological Development JSC and NEDO; Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kazakhstan National Nuclear Center and the "Toshiba" Corporation in the technology of nuclear waste management, a Memorandum of Understanding betwe Japan Bank for International Cooperation en "Kazatomprom" JSC and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation were signed following the meeting.
