Kazakhstan exported 5.3 million tons of grain in the last marketing year

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan since the beginning of the marketing year (July 2013) has exported about 5.3 million tons of grain, said the Minister for Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbekov on the extended Ministry board under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov.

«Since the beginning of the marketing year, that is from July 2013 to February 2014, Kazakhstan exported about 5.3 million tons of grain which is 25 % more than the corresponding period of the last season», said the Minister.

Thus, according to A.Mamytbekov to reach the projected volume of exports - 9 million tons, Kazakhstan is to export 3.7 million tons of grain before 1st of July.
