Kazakhstan films documentary about the battle of Stalingrad
VOLGOGRAD. March 1. KAZINFORM Representatives of Aigak television and radio broadcasting company from Kazakhstan came to the Volgograd Region, Russia, where they are going to film a documentary dedicated to the 70th anniversary of victory in the battle of Stalingrad.
The guests from Kazakhstan talked about their plans at the official meeting at the regional ministry of economy, external relations and investments.
Tens of thousands of Kazakhs, including Heroes of the Soviet Union Karsybai Spatayev and Nurken Abdirov, participated in the battle. Private Talip Mirzayev and sniper Mikhail Mamekov also made the history by protecting Stalingrad.
The goal of the film crew from Kazakhstan is to eternalize memory about the heroical deeds of these soldiers in the special documentary project.
This documentary is expected to become a part of a bigger project made by Kazakhstani journalists and devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the World War II.
