Kazakhstan firmly moves on path of progress - Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade

Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade emphasizes Kazakhstan’s role in preservation of interreligious peace on the planet, Kazinform Agency reports.

Taking the floor at the 21st session of the Secretariat of the Congress of the World and Traditional Religions Leaders in Astana, he expressed his deepest gratitude to Kazakhstan and the country’s leadership, who initiated such an important universal idea.
“Kazakhstan has confidently moved on the path of progress and moral development. Huge works are carried out on development of cultural and spiritual heritage of the country as well as in political and economic spheres. Important projects and initiatives are implemented,” said Allahshukur Pashazade.
He expressed confidence that Kazakhstan will continue playing an active role in the process of development of inter-faith and inter-civilization dialogue.
“Today, when the world experiences great upheavals, the ideas of human solidarity gain more importance like never before. And as usual, an indisputable priority is given to the protection of human life - this sacred value bestowed on us by the Almighty. The attempts to provoke clashes of civilizations may put the world on the brink of great catastrophes,” he concluded.
