Kazakhstan FM meets with Jan Kubis

ASTANA. March 12. KAZINFORM – Today Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Marat Tazhin had a meeting with Deputy General Secretary of the United Nations, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Jan Kubis in Astana, the press department of the Ministry informed Kazinform.

The officials discussed the further steps of partnership between Kazakhstan and the UN ECE and the issues of regional cooperation in transportation, water, energy, environment, trade, financial, agricultural and scientific spheres. Kazakhstan Minister told Jan Kubis about the conceptual issues of the Message of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan, the anti-recessionary program of the Government and implementation of ?The Path to Europe? government program. The questions of the forthcoming EU OSCE Troika Ministerial Meeting in Brussels have also been touched upon.
