Kazakhstan for the first time to host TIACA air cargo regional forum

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) will organize and host the first air cargo and logistics regional forum in Astana, Kazakhstan, on 19-21 June with the support of the Kazakh Transport Ministry, Kazakh Aviation Administration and Civil Aviation Committee, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the committee’s press service.

The event themed Silk Road in the Sky — Kazakhstan Air Cargo Hub will be held as part of the 2nd Aviation Talks. Those attending will be engaged in discussions of the development of key areas of the air cargo sector such as transit potential, multimodal transportation, innovations and freight traffic digitalization, airport infrastructures, logistics centres, efficient customs procedures, sustainable aviation gas, cooperation with international carriers, investments in education and personnel.

“We are excited to support economic growth and promote a flourishing and expanded logistics industry by working with the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan to organize a first-class conference, which will bring together over 300 decision-makers from the local community and across the globe to network, showcase their expertise and solutions, as well as to learn and debate pressing issues affecting the Central Asian region.” Steven Polmans, TIACA Chair, said.
