Kazakhstan, France discuss cooperation in provision of constitutional legality
ASTANA. November 23. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan Igor Rogov met with the French delegation, which is taking part in the international conference "Kazakhstan-Europe: results and new horizons of cooperation".
The sides exchanged views on the status and prospects of cooperation between France and Kazakhstan in the field of provision of constitutional legality and the rights and freedoms of man and the citizen.
Rogov told about the results of 20-year development of Kazakhstan's constitutional building and main aspects of the state legal policy.
The delegation consisted of Roland Dumas, former President of the Constitutional Council and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of France; Roger Grass, Registrar of the European Court of Justice; Jean-Pierre Spitzer; scientific director of the Union of European Lawyers and legal counsel to the European Movement; Joë Lemmer, president of the European Lawyers' Union.
