Kazakhstan fulfils obligations on Protocol on water and energy resources use

BISHKEK. January 31. KAZINFORM /Vladimir Dobrovolski/ A session of the heads of local representational and executive bodies of Kyrgyzstan was held yesterday in Bishkek, Kazinform reports.

Kyrgyz Minister of Industry, Energy and Fuel Resources Ilyas Davydov took part in the session. He said that Kazakhstan accomplished prepayment amounted to USD 25 mln for the scheduled export of water in 2009. The prepayment was prescribed by the Protocol on rational and effective use of water and energy resources in the Central Asia, signed at the meeting of the Heads of States of the region on October 10, 2008.
