Kazakhstan, Georgia foreign trade turnover falls to $115 million
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Foreign trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Georgia has decreased to $115 million, this has been announced by First Deputy Minister for Investment and Development Zhenis Kassymbek.
"Today, volume of foreign trade turnover between the two countries equals to $115 million. Although 3-4 years ago, mutual investments in Georgia's economy was 4 times higher. We have a huge potential for increasing co-operation," said Mr.Kassymbek during a business forum "Astana-Batumi". He noted that today about 80 joint ventures with participation of the Georgian capital operate in Kazakhstan. "B2B" format bilateral business meetings involving members of the Kazakh entrepreneurs and reps of the business delegation from Adjara have been held in the framework of the event.
