Kazakhstan grabs gold at Asian Boxing Championships

Kazakh boxer Makhmud Sabyrkhan won a gold medal in the men’s 54 kg finals at the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships in Thailand, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee.

He defeated Shakhzod Muzafarov of Uzbekistan by split decision.

As earlier reported, Kazakh female boxers swept five medals at the ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
