Kazakhstan grabs two bronze medals at 2024 World Judo Juniors Championships in Dushanbe

The 2024 World Judo Juniors Championships ended in Dushanbe (Tajikistan), Kazinform News Agency has learned from the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh team grabbed two medals at the competition. Defeating Nizami Imranov from Azerbaijan, Talgat Orynbassar got a bronze medal in the 60kg weight division. Another Kazakh judoka Azat Kumisbay secured a bronze medal beating Sunatullo Musoev from Tajikistan in the 81kg weight division.

Team Kazakhstan is ranked 15th in the overall standings. Japan secured 1st place claiming six golds, five silvers and one bronze.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan had won two gold medals at the World Challenge Cup in Szombathely.
