Kazakhstan harvests 11.4 mln tons of wheat

Kazakhstan is expected soon to conclude the harvesting campaign countrywide, Kazakh Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov told the Government meeting, Kazinform Agency reports.

As of today, Kazakhstan harvested 16.9 million tons of grain or 98.7%, thrashed 16.4 million tons in initial weight with an average yield of grain of 9.7. centreners per hectare, including 11.4 million tons of wheat with an average yield of 8.6 centners per hectare.

1.9 million hectares or 68% of oil-bearing crops were gathered.
