Kazakhstan has all conditions to raise highly skilled nation: President Nazarbayev

"The network of the Intellectual schools is second to none. Currently Kazakhstan has all conditions in place to raise highly-skilled elite of the nation," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The Head of State wished future students of the school success and hard work that will eventually pay off.
The Intellectual school is a 3-storey building with 14 blocs for 720 students. "The school has state-of-the-art equipment. There are 62 classrooms, three laboratories of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The classrooms and laboratories are filled with equipment from Kazakhstan, Russia, Great Britain, Germany and the U.S.," principal of the school Ravil Yakupov stated proudly.
For students from outside Karaganda there is a dormitory. There are also a canteen with 360 seats, two gyms, a football pitch, playgrounds, an assembly hall, a library and an information center.
R. Yakupov noted, "85 teachers were employed as a result of rigid selection process. Besides, in October all students of Grades 7, 8 and 9 willing to study at the new school went through a series of tests. It is worth mentioning that the school received 1 310 applications."
According to the principal, the construction company is putting the finishing touches and the classes will start as soon as possible.
The new Nazarbayev Intellectual school is to be commissioned this academic year.
The press service of the AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" says there are seven Intellectual schools in six cities of Kazakhstan at the moment: two schools in Astana, Taldykorgan, Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Uralsk. 14 analogous schools are being constructed across the country.
