In order to improve the availability and quality of health care there will begin the process of accreditation by the renewed standards of medical organizations that provide outpatient care.

The updated national accreditation standards for health care organizations that provide outpatient care were approved by the Executive Committee of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) in February 2013.

According to the ministry, in 2013 public contracts for the provision of primary care services were concluded with 464 medical organizations, including 67 private medical organizations.

In general, as part of the upcoming reform of the financing of outpatient institutions and the adoption of integrated capitation in 2014 there are created conditions aimed at promoting competition between health care organizations through the involvement of private medical organizations in provision of guaranteed volume of free medical care.

Thus, it is planned to increase the number of private medical organizations claiming to provide guaranteed volume of free medical care that will improve availability and quality of care.
