Kazakhstan among Top 3 countries with measles outbreaks
Kazakhstan stands among Top 3 countries with the highest number of measles cases, according to the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Kazinform News Agency reports.
According to the statistics, Yemen is ranked first with 25,216 cases confirmed. India comes second with 14,927 cases, and Kazakhstan is third with 12,985 cases.
The Top 10 countries with measles outbreaks also include Ethiopia, Pakistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Russia.
It should be noted that the data covers the period from May through October 2023.
