Kazakhstan invited to G-20 summit in St. Petersburg as EEC, CU & CIS representative
ASTANA. September 4. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan has been invited to the summit of "Group of Twenty" in St. Petersburg as a representative of the Eurasian Economic Community, the Customs Union and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), as it has been announced in a speech by Azamat Abdymomunov, representative of Republic of Kazakhstan at the summit of G-20 and Head of the Center for Strategic Research and Analysis of the Administration of the President.

Participation in G- 20 is a unique opportunity for Kazakhstan in terms of advancing its agenda at the global level, strengthening its foreign policy and international prestige.
By the agreement with the Russian side Astana Economic Forum (AEF) was included in the program of outreach events held under the chairmanship of the Russian Federation within G-20.
On December 1, 2012 the Russian Federation for the first time took over the presidency of "Group of Twenty".
In 2014, the presidency of ''G-20" will be delegated to Australia and in 2015 to Turkey.
