BRUSSELS. March 19. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Kazakhstan is a leader in Central Asia in the issues regarding realization of economic reforms and foreign policy priorities. Vice President (Europe) of the International Crisis Group (ICG) Alain Délétroz has expressed such an opinion in an interview to the Kazakh journalists.

As the international expert stressed, "in our region Kazakhstan became the most developed state. It is the only country, which has real foreign policy. Moreover, the Republic of Kazakhstan leads the pack in terms of economic reforms in Central Asia."

According to ICG Vice President, Kazakhstan being the OSCE chair managed to organize the Summit of the Organization after an 11-year hiatus of a top-meeting and it is the great achievement for the young state. Despite the fact that the OSCE participating states have big contradictions, there was signed a joint declaration in Astana. "It is success," Alain Délétroz outlined.

The International Crisis Group (Crisis Group) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation, with some 140 staff members on five continents, working through field-based analysis and high-level advocacy to prevent and resolve deadly conflict.
