Kazakhstan is up in global competitiveness ranking of World Economic Forum

According to the report, Kazakhstan has improved by one position to rank 50th this year.
The country benefits from a flexible and efficient labor market (15th) and a stable economic environment (23rd) at a time when many countries are struggling in these areas. Kazakhstan's main challenges relate to its health care and primate education systems (97th), its lack of business sophistication (94th), and its low innovation (84th).
The report places Switzerland at the top of the ranking for the fifth year running. The United States rose in the ranking to the 5th place after four-year downward trend. Japan is ranked 9th this year. Singapore, Finland, Germany, Sweden, Hong Kong SAR, the Netherlands and Great Britain made the top 10 in this year's report.
