Kazakhstan is USA?s strategic partner in CA: US Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK. January 29. KAZINFORM /Vladimir Dobrovolsky/ Kazakhstan Ambassador to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Ospanov has had a meeting with US Ambassador to this country Tatiana Gfoeller, Kazinform correspondent reports.

The diplomats focused on relations of Kazakhstan with the USA and the 2008 elections in the USA. The Kazakh Diplomat briefed on the Government?s measures on supporting financial market, allocation of the means from the National Fund for support of the national economy and also on Kazakhstan?s achievements in promotion of democratic reforms. B. Ospanov congratulated the American Ambassador on election of Barack Obama the new President of the United States with the name of which the Americans connect their future. T. Gfoeller thanked B. Ospanov for the congratulation and noted the B. Obama?s speech had touched everybody. The US Ambassador noted that Kazakhstan was a strategic partner of her country in the Central Asia. She expressed admiration with Kazakhstan?s success over the years of independence. The parties came to an agreement to hold bilateral meetings on a regular basis which will contribute to mutual understanding and strengthening cooperation between our countries.
