Kazakhstan joins Olympic Council of Asia committees
The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) introduced new members of its committees, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakh National Olympic Committee.
Randhir Singh, the president of the Olympic Council of Asia, announced the appointment of new members at the OCA’s 44th General Assembly in New Delhi.
President of the Kazakh National Olympic Committee Gennady Golovkin joined the OCA Sports Committee. Kazakh National Olympic Committee’s secretary general Alimzhan Akayev was appointed as a member of the OCA International Relations Committee, while its PR and Marketing Department director Gulnaz Shukenova joined the OCA Media Committee. Sports Department chief manager Roman Temirzhanov is named a new member of the OCA Information and Statistics Committee.
Venera Abdulla, Director of the Central Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organization (RADOCA), is nominated as a member of the OCA Anti-Doping Commission.
The committees will serve through 2028.
