Kazakhstan-Jordan Agreement on international highway service ratified in Senate
ASTANA. January 15. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Law On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on international highway service has been adopted at a plenary session in the KZ Senate today, Kazinform reports.
The Agreement was signed on August 8, 2007 in Astana. It aims at further development of the Kazakh-Jordanian trade and economic cooperation, realization of Kazakhstan?s transit potential through attraction of Jordanian carriers to KZ transport corridors and expansion of the routes of Kazakhstani carriers.
The agreement is called to regulate international passenger and cargo transportations between the member states.
