Kazakhstan learnt to solve most difficult tasks despite obstacles and barriers - Head of State

ASTANA. December 15. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakhstan has learnt to solve the most difficult tasks despite any obstacles and barriers. Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it delivering a speech at the ceremonial meeting devoted to the Independence Day held at the Palace of Independence in Astana today.

"Dear compatriots! The world experience shows that 40-50 years are needed for building a developed state. We have passed an uneasy half of our way towards prosperity. All crucial decisions were not easy to adopt too. Let us remember how many people were skeptic on our ambitious plans and ideas. For example, when I took a decision on transition to market economy, on nuclear weapons free status of Kazakhstan, on removing the capital city, on adoption of the 2030 Strategy, on establishment of the National fund and many other things", the President said.

'There we many concerns over establishment of the Customs Union as well as on holding the OSCE Summit in Astana", N. Nazarbayev added.

"To date we see the rightness of those decisions which served for the good of our Motherland. We have learnt to solve the most difficult and complicated tasks despite any obstacles and barriers. I have always considered and consider that these tasks should inspire our people. Great goals can be set only by a great nation. Our independence made us, Kazakhstanis, a great nation", N. Nazarbayev stressed.
