Kazakhstan made responsible transport operators from 7 countries

ASTANA. July 25. KAZINFORM  Foreign transport operators  were held up and brought to justice by the transport control authorities in connection with violation of the authorization system requirements.

According to the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications, transport operators from Turkey, Lithuania, Germany, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan and Latvia transported goods through the Kazakhstan's territory having no necessary permissions.

Such permissions are issued to foreign transporters according to international agreements. Each country gives to the state partner a certain number of allowances to transport cargo through its territory. Thus, the carriers who did not receive a quota, or exhausted it, can not transport goods to a foreign country.

Thuswise, Ukraine granted 6850 quotas to Kazakhstan for the carriage of goods through its territory. A similar number of flights can be made also by the Ukrainian carriers via the Kazakhstan's territory. According to the agreement between Turkey and Kazakhstan, carriers of both countries can do no more than 7,000 flights a year.
