Kazakhstan maintains 139th spot in FIFA ranking

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan men's national football team maintained the 139th place with 203 points in the updated FIFA ranking made public on its website on Thursday, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.

As for Kazakhstan's Euro 2016 opponents in Group A, the Netherlands remained at the 5th spot with 1 385 points as well as the Czech Republic - at the 17th. Iceland, Turkey and Latvia dropped four places apiece and are currently ranked 37th, 52nd and 100th respectively. The world top ten rankings have seen little changes with Germany, Argentina and Columbia maintaining their top-three places, with 1 729, 1 534 and 1 456 points, accordingly. Australia jumped 37 places to the 63rd position. Russian dropped two places to 33rd in the world rankings.
