Kazakhstan makes history with EXPO-2017 triumph: President
PARIS. November 22. KAZINFORM Astana has earned a remarkable standing in the world as the city that can host such large-scale events as EXPO-2017.

Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev told a briefing in Paris after the results of voting for EXPO-2017 host city were announced.
"It has just been revealed that Kazakhstan made history with winning the right to host this event. The majority of the BIE member states have voted for Astana. We have received 103 votes. Thus, Astana has learned a remarkable standing in the world as the city that can host such grandiose events," the Head of State noted.
N. Nazarbayev stressed "it is a high privilege for Kazakhstan because representatives of more than 100 countries will come to Astana to build their pavilions."
