Kazakhstan Minister: Russia to supply S-300PS air-defense missiles

ASTANA. March 4. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ RK Ministry of Defense has entered into a contract with Russia on supply of S-300 PS air-defense missile systems to Kazakhstan, Minister Danial Akhmetov announced today at the sitting of the Coordinating Committee under the CIS Council of Defense Ministers in Astana, Kazinform reports.

?We have recently signed a contract with the Russian Federation on procurement of S-300 PS systems. And we will continue this process?, said the Minister. ?Besides, within possible budget reduction we are solving the issues related to upgrading of radar engineering?, the Minister added.
