Kazakhstan named a top emerging travel destination by Wanderlust

Wanderlust magazine has ranked Kazakhstan among the top five most desirable new destinations in the 23rd Annual Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards, securing fifth place in the “Most desirable new destination” category, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports. 

Uzbekistan claimed the top spot, followed by Albania, Qatar, and Azerbaijan.

The rankings were based on online votes from over 168,000 participants worldwide, who selected inspiring and attractive travel destinations.

Additionally, Lonely Planet, the world’s leading travel guide publisher, recently included Kazakhstan in its annual Best in Travel 2025 list, highlighting it as one of the 30 must-visit countries globally.
