Kazakhstan names new chief state sanitary doctor

The Kazakh Government decreed to appoint Sarkhat Beissenova as the head of the sanitary and epidemiological control committee of the Kazakh Healthcare Ministry – chief state sanitary doctor of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the Government’s press service.

Sarkhat Beissenova was born in 1972 in Akmola region. She graduated from the Karaganda State Medical Institute and the Turan Astana University.

She started her career in 1989 at the Akmola Regional Cancer Detection Center. From 1996 to 1998 she worked as an epidemiologist at the sanitary and epidemiological service in Akmola, and at the Akmola regional department of internal affairs from 1998 to 1999.

In 2002 - 2007 she headed the sanitary and epidemiological control department of the Kazakh capital.

In 2007 - 2009 held the post of deputy director of the state sanitary and epidemiological control department – deputy chief state sanitary doctor of Astana.

In 2017 Sarkhat Beissenova was named as the deputy director of the public healthcare protection department of  Astana city of the Kazakh Healthcare Ministry.

From 2019 to 2020 acted as the deputy head of the goods service and quality control department of the Kazakh capital.
