Kazakhstan & NATO discuss partnership in Brussels

BRUSSELS. KAZINFORM - NATO headquarters in Brussels has held a discussion on the implementation of the third cycle of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) of Kazakhstan and North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai stressed that Kazakhstan is the only country in the region implementing the plan. Head of Kazakhstan's mission to NATO, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belgium Almas Hamzayev noted the importance of the Euro-Atlantic direction of cooperation in Kazakhstan's multi-vector policy. Head of International Cooperation Department under the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Adil Bekov informed the attendees on Kazakhstan armed forces' peacekeeping trainings, as well as our country's views on the issues of regional and international security.
