Kazakhstan needs new selective migration policy, view
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Vice Minister of National Economy Madina Abylkassymova believes Kazakhstan needs a new selective policy on attraction of qualified and highly qualified staff.

Ms Abylkassymova expressed such point of view at the roundtable themed Trends in migration processes (social aspects) held at Majilis, lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, on Wednesday. "Recruiting highly qualified staff is one of the priorities of migration policy of many developed and developing countries. According to the Economic Research Institute, the need for highly qualified personnel will only grow in Kazakhstan in the future and will reach 354,200 people by 2030," she said. In her words, Kazakhstan needs to develop the new selective migration policy in order to attract only qualified and highly qualified staff to the country.
