«Kazakhstan - New Silk Way» Int'l forum to take place in Astana
The forum will involve 600 participants from 25 countries, including representatives of Ministries of Latvia, Lithuania, President of JSC “Russian Railways” Vladimir Yakunin, Chairman of DP World Ahmed bin Sulaym, President of “air Astana” Piter Foster, President of General Electric Transportation Russel Stokes, President of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” Askar Mamin, and heads of transport administrations from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Iran, China.
The forum is the first and one of the global events in the sphere of logistics and management of supply chain within the territory of Kazakhstan and CIS countries, and it will serve as an open platform for interaction with international figures.
The forum’s object is to collect all the professionals of the transport industry to get acquainted with the latest achievements of logistics practices, exchange the experience in the application of logistics methods and technologies , discuss innovative solutions in the field of logistics and supply chain management and prospects for the development of logistics systems, as well as to discuss modern solutions in logistics sphere.
According to organizers, participation in the Forum is an ideal platform for presentation of prospects and opportunities of intermodal solutions and international best practices in logistics in the way of international transit of East- West and North -South cooperation.
