Kazakhstan obtains lists of Kazakhstan-born adopted children living at the Ranch for Kids

ASTANA. July 17. KAZINFORM Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Children's Rights Pavel Astakhov has met today with Deputy Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Andrey Kravchenko in Astana. During the meeting, Mr. Kravchenko handed over the lists of adopted children from Kazakhstan living at the Ranch for Kids in Montana, U.S.

He also briefed the Kazakh Deputy Prosecutor General on the exact number of Kazakhstan-born kids who lived at the ranch over the last 15 years.

"Today, at the Prosecutor General's Office, I've handed over the lists of Kazakhstani adopted children staying at the Ranch for Kids in Montana. The Kazakh authorities are to prepare official request and send it to the U.S. Department of Justice in relation to the ranch. We have agreed to cooperate on this issue and apply efforts to solve this problem legally," Astakhov told the press conference in the Kazakh capital.
