Kazakhstan offers to hold SCO agriculture ministers' meeting in Astana next year

ST PETERSBURG. November 7. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan offers to hold a meeting of agriculture ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the first half of next year in Astana, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov told the SCO Prime Ministers' Council on Monday in St Petersburg.

Massimov noted that the urgent character of the issue of agricultural cooperation. Closer collaboration between producers and consumers of agricultural products will contribute to ensuring food security, production growth in the agricultural sector and increase in turnover in the SCO space.
