Kazakhstan, OSCE hold talks on mass media development

 Assistant to the Kazakh President for Domestic Policy and Communications Ruslan Zheldibay met with the OSCE officials, Kazinform agency cites the Akorda press service. 

Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Domestic Policy and Communications Ruslan Zheldibay held talks with Teresa Ribeiro, of Portugal, OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the OSCE Program Office in Astana, Volker Frobarth, and the Director of the OSCE Office for Freedom of the Media, Jürgen Heissel.

During the conversation, the parties discussed current issues of cooperation on improving legislation in the field of mass media and the development of mass media in Kazakhstan.
