Kazakhstan participation in Amman?s Near East 2009 expo sparked interest

AMMAN. May 7. KAZINFORM. /Talgat Baimukhambetov/ ?Project Near East 2009? international exhibition of construction materials with the participation of Kazakhstan has finished in Amman, Jordan.

The Kazakh delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Trade of the Industry and Trade Ministry Serik Zhumangazin. According to Kazakh Ambassador to Jordan Bulat Sarsenbayev, Jordan visitors, foreign participants of the exhibition and local mass media took an interest in the Kazakh exhibition pavilion due to its graphic design, demonstration of video films and performance of Gulder ensemble. Kazakhstan?s participation in the exposition was arranged by the Kazakh Embassy in association with the Ministry of Industry and Trade in accordance with the Government?s commissions to assist Kazakh producers in the access to the markets of Jordan and Iraq. The correspondent agreements were signed on January 28-29, 2009 in Amman during the 3rd sitting of the Kazakh-Jordanian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade-Economic and Cultural Humanitarian Cooperation. The Kazakh delegation included representatives of ?Kaznex? Corporation for Export Development and Promotion, ?Rukan? and ?Alit? plants.
