Kazakhstan plans to attract over 3000 world universities to discussion of sustainable development of planet

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan intends to attract over 3 thousand world universities at the G-Global platform to discussion of the issues of sustainable development of the planet, Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, head of the G-Global secretariat, co-chair of the coordination council of the Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists Association Serik Nugerbekov informed at the CCS media briefing.

He noted that the G-Global platform has a section called "Person of the month". According to him, rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Galimkair Mutanov will be the next person of the month in the nearest future.

"The theme Mr. Mutanov is going to promote is sustainable development of our planet in the format of G-Global. He plans to attract about 3 thousand universities of the world, students and teachers of the world universities for discussion of this issue. Sustainable development matches the goals of the G-Global," he told.

The G-Global platform is the international communication platform which has been established for promotion of the main international initiatives of Kazakhstan including the Congress of World and Traditional Religions, "ATOM" project and EXPO-2017, etc.
