Kazakhstan plans to produce 130 mln tons of oil till 2020

ATYRAU. November 18. KAZINFORM /Andrei Sokolov/ When the realization of the sectoral program on development of oil and gas sector is finished the volume of produced oil will make not less than 85 mln tons in 2014.

Representatives of the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan said it at the meeting on development of oil and gas sector.

According to the representatives of the Ministry these figures are quite modest. It is real to expect the amount of produced oil till 2014 to have increased to 90 mln tons. Besides, there are prospects to mark 2020 year with 130 mln tons of a year production.

The increase is to be ensured due to such projects as Kashagan, Tengiz field and Karachaganak.
