Chairman of the National Committee of the People's Political Consultative Conference of China Jia Qinglin said it during the meeting with Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Ural Mukhamedzhanov.

'Your country plays important role in international and regional affairs now. Kazakhstan has countered the consequences of the global financial crisis over the last two years. Kazakhstan took a number of anti-crisis measures and measures aimed at promoting economic growth. Your country was one of the first to have overcome the consequences of the global financial crisis in the Central Asian region and in the whole Eurasian space', Jia Qinglin said.

He expressed his confidence that President Nursultan Nazarbayev would lead all Kazakh people to new heights of success in many spheres.

Jia Qinglin also complimented good development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and China and proposed to activate the inter-parliamentary cooperation.
