Kazakhstan PM meets Tatarstan colleague in Astana

sp;ASTANA. December 26. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov has met with Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov in the Ukimet Uiy; the Premier's press service reports.

The state and prospects of development of trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation of the two countries were discussed in the course of the meeting.

R.Minnikhanov informed of the visit to Almaty oblast, where he surveyed the International Center for Cross-Border Cooperation «Khorgos» for research of investing opportunity into facilities construction.

The sides noted necessity of implementation of economic potential, which Kazakhstan and Tatarstan have, and emphasized urgency of development of bilateral cooperation in the light of the Customs Union establishment and beginning of its function from 2010.

K.Massimov and R.Minnikhanov expressed confidence in success of bilateral cooperation.
