ANA. October 12. KAZINFORM. Kazakhstan possessing significant reserves of natural uranium and production of nuclear fuel components has an opportunity to become one of the key players in the world nuclear market. Kazakh Senate Chairman, Vice Speaker of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said it at "Energy Security and Environment" conference held within the framework of the OSCE PA Fall Meetings in Athens on October 10.

As the Senate's press service told Kazinform, the Speaker reminded of the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's proposal to establish an international nuclear fuel bank under the International Atomic Energy Agency on the territory of our country.
