Kazakh Government approves 2024-2030 petrochemical industry development roadmap
The Kazakh Energy Ministry elaborated the 2024-2030 petrochemical industry development roadmap embracing raw materials supplies and final output action plans, Kazinform News Agency reports.
It is purposed to boost the country's petrochemical industry development and promote the implementation of prospects.
The roadmap development is projected to bolster petrochemical industry output from 357,800 tons in 2023 to 1.8 million tons by 2030, to supply the ongoing and new petrochemical projects with necessary raw materials, to develop six projects attracting 14.7 billion US dollars in investments, to create 3,500 permanent and 16,000 temporary jobs, to build the necessary infrastructure in the territory of the free economic zone for the petrochemical projects.
The Government of Kazakhstan approved the roadmap.
