Kazakhstan preps for five-day celebration of Nowruz

ASTANA. March 2. KAZINFORM People of Kazakhstan will have five days-off to celebrate Nauryz (Nowruz) holiday.

Kazakhstan observes and celebrates Nauryz or Nowruz as it is a national holiday. It is celebrated throughout the country on the 21^st, 22^nd and 23^rd of March. This year two days will be added to the celebration. The 23^rd of March falls on Saturday and in line with the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on holidays it will span Monday (March 25) as well.

It means Kazakhstanis will celebrate Nauryz meiramy for five days in a raw starting from the 21^st through 25^th of March.
