Kazakhstan President to visit Finland

ASTANA. March 19. KAZINFORM. /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay the first official visit to Finland on March 23-25. Official spokesman of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Yerzhan Ashikbayev has made it public at today?s briefing in Astana.

The Head of the State will hold meetings with the government and business circles of Finland. Signing of bilateral documents is expected as well. The visit?s program also includes the presentation of N. Nazarbayev?s book ?Kazakhstan?s Way? published in Finnish and a visit to the Otaniemi Science and Technology Park. ?This visit is very important for the Kazakh-Finnish relations. It will promote implementation of ?Path to Europe? government program and Kazakhstan?s initiative to enter into advanced partnership agreement with the European Union?, Y. Ashikbayev added.
