Kazakhstan President’s TV and Radio Complex marks its 28th anniversary
The TV and Radio Complex of the President of Kazakhstan was established on December 29, 1996, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The TV and Radio Complex of the President of Kazakhstan is one of the largest media companies of Kazakhstan uniting the Jibek Joly, Silk Way and Silk Way Cinema channels and the country’s oldest International News Agency Kazinform and Documentary Films Center.
It produces documentaries and short films, and videos and programs of sociopolitical importance.
It is worth noting the Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex, Al Jazeera launch new project to further promote cooperation. The TV and Radio Complex of the Kazakh President and Al Jazeera Media Network are moving forward the implementation of the memorandum of cooperation, signed within the state visit of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the State of Qatar early this year.
As earlier reported, the Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex made a new documentary film Sert to feature the development of the President’s tasks to restore the flood-impacted regions and pay property damage compensations.
This year Kazakhstan experienced the worst natural disaster in the past 80 years as rivers burst their banks in Atyrau, Akmola, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan and West Kazakhstan regions.
The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, visited then several flood-stricken regions to assess the situation, support Kazakhstanis, and give the Government and regions certain tasks. The President assigned to rebuild inundated regions, compensate for losses and property damages, build new housing and repair devastated infrastructure within five months of the summer and autumn.
During the floods, the Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex made Stikhiya (The force of nature) documentary. Five months have passed since the floods hit Kazakhstan. The new documentary is set to reveal today’s life in the flood-ravaged Atyrau, Aktobe, Akmola, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, and West Kazakhstan regions.
