Kazakhstan produced 54 mln tons of oil and condensate in Jan-Aug 2013

"For eight months of the current year the volume of oil and condensate production in the country amounted to 54 million tons, 3% more than last year. Production of natural and associated gas amounted to 27.7 billion cubic meters. This is by 3.3% more than last," the Minister said.
According to forecasts of the Ministry of Oil and Gas, by the end of 2013 the volume of oil and condensate production is expected to reach 82 million tons, which should exceed the level of 2012.
"In the near future in Kazakhstan is expected to increase hydrocarbon production. In this regard, Kazakhstan is one of the few countries where the production peak is yet to come. We forecast that by 2030, oil output may exceed 110 million tons, which gives us reason to join the top 10 oil-producing countries in the future," Karabalin noted.
The main projects in the oil and gas sector of Kazakhstan are Tengiz, Karachaganak and Kashagan.
