As the Majilis Speaker noted, the relevance of the agenda of the Assembly was obvious in view of new geopolitical and economic challenges.

K. Dzhakupov told about the contribution of Kazakhstan to fulfillment of the tasks aimed at ensuring sustainable development of the world community. In particular, the partnership program initiated by the President of Kazakhstan and titled "Green Bridge", which was supported by all member states of the UN at the Rio+20 conference, was brought up.

According to K. Dzhakupov, the entire world community must be involved in the process of fulfillment of the goals of sustainable development.

"We are ready to propose the international G-Global platform of the Astana Economic Forum for discussion of these issues. The forum was initiated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev in order to provide a platform for the world's brightest heads for discussion of the global issues of development and elaboration of any special recommendations in the sphere. Moreover, we need an extended format than the existing ones of G7 and G20 for this purpose. The G-Global platform can become a generator of solutions we are searching for now," K. Dzhakupov noted.

According to K. Dzhakupov, adoption of the concept of the world anti-crisis plan for the UN member states within the Astana Economic Forum in 2014 was a breakthrough in this field.
