Kazakhstan provides an office for Palestinian embassy in Astana
ASTANA. November 24. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Draft law on ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Palestine on providing an office building in the city of Astana for uncompensated use of the embassy of Palestine in Kazakhstan has been approved at a plenary sitting of the Majilis today.
The agreement was signed on September 16, 2010 in Astana. According to Executive Secretary of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Rapil Zhoshybayev, commitment to support the Palestinians arose in connection with the accession of Kazakhstan to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, since this organization was created to address the problem of Palestine.
